Very fun place. Went on a field trip here and we didn't learn a lot. My suggestion would be give yourself plenty time so you can read about the different things yourself.
The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. I was saddened to see the damage to the property from the airplane crash last year, and was disappointed the Navy wouldn't honor its obligation to make repairs to a federally recognized historic site. I truly enjoyed my visit and will return again.
Very well maintained and great staff, tried the ghost tour and the staff were not over the top on scare antics just a sparce few and guides we're respectful of the history while the showed the home and grounds.
Great people working here that will answer any question you have. You're sure to learn something new and interesting.
