We had to find an older style fuse for an older sprinkler system. I knew that RadioShack would be the place to go and sure enough they had what we needed on hand. Luckily it was not too far since they have closed so many of these retail locations.

As a beginning electronics enthusiast, I'm glad this place exists to get the parts needed for small projects. The shelves are somewhat bare, but they had most of what I was looking for. My only complaint is the associate assisting me, while clearly very knowledgeable and intelligent, seemed more interested in the shows on the TV than helping.
The only place I can go for a resistor when I just need two instead of having to order 200
